The Liberty Colonial Series is where you start to see a significant jump in both security and fire protection, and for many of our customers, it represents the sweet spot between value and serious capability. This is a mid-level safe that performs well above its price class, built for gun owners who understand that protection isn't something you want to go halfway on.

Available in the Colonial 23, 30, and 50, this series carries a Level 6 security rating — meaning it's been engineered to resist increasingly sophisticated forced-entry methods including prying, drilling, and punching. Three hardened steel plates are positioned behind the lock and handle area to defeat drill attacks. The body is constructed from 12-gauge Dual Fusion folded steel, a process that creates a continuous frame without exposed seams or weak points at the corners. The 1/4-inch Solid State locking bars further reinforce the door against pry attacks.

Fire protection jumps to 75 minutes of certified protection at 1,200°F, giving your firearms, documents, and valuables substantially more survivability in a residential fire. That extra time matters — it's the difference between losing everything and having your belongings intact when the fire department finishes their work.

The SecuRam Backlit electronic lock is a step up from the standard models, offering better visibility and a more refined user experience. The Colonial is also California DOJ-approved, ensuring compliance with state firearm storage regulations.
